| Racing |
| Helmets are required for all racers. Lapped racers are required to yield to leaders provided that lead riders are vocal when overtaking other riders. A racer may not bodily interfere or otherwise intentionally impede another racer’s progress. Unsportsmanlike behavior and/or use of profane or abusive language will not be tolerated. Short cutting of a race course is not allowed. At the sole discretion of the Race Director, racers may be issued a warning or disqualified for a violation of any of the above rules. |

Equipment
|
| All bikes must have working front and rear brakes. No cross or road bikes. No drop handle bars. Helmets are required for all racers. No training wheels. No striders, bikes must have peddles & brakes. |

Race Divisions
|
| Any racer who wins their overall age/skill division may be required to move up in skill level the following season. Racers are solely responsible for knowing which race division they are entered in and the start time for their specific race division. Racing age for all racers will be the racer’s age as of December 31, 2012. Race organizers reserve the right to combine age divisions in instances where there are less than four season pass holders registered for a specific division. |

| Registration |
|
Racers may pre-register for all races by purchasing a season pass on or before May 23rd for $135 ($55 youth), or after May 23rd for $145 ($60 Youth). Early registration for $25 ($15 youth) until 5:30pm the day prior to the race. Race day registration fee of $35 ($20 youth) will be accepted at the race site only from 4:30-5:30pm. Racers give the City of Steamboat Springs permission to use name and photographic likeness in all forms and media for advertising and any other lawful purposes and forfeit all compensation for use. Racers who alter or lose number tag are subject to a $10 replacement fee.

| Cancellation Policy |
|
In cases of adverse weather, adverse trail conditions, or unforeseen circumstances the race organizers reserve the right to any of the following actions:
- delay start for a period of time
- shorten race prior to or during race
- reschedule race
- move the start or finish of a course
- cancel the race

| Protests |
| Protests regarding race results will be accepted by Race Director until the end of the next business day following a race. Race results will be final 24 hours after the completion of the race. |

| Refunds |
| If a race is cancelled due to weather, all registered racers will receive household credit and we will attempt to reschedule the race. Request for season pass refunds will be dealt with individually and will include a $5 cancellation fee. |
