Strategic Plan

It is an exciting time for the fire department with many of the goals from the Strategic Plan being accomplished and well on the way to moving into the new Downtown Fire Station (Station 1). While there will surely be challenges along the way, the atmosphere and excitement about the new station and the addition of personnel is palpable.

Fire Department administration has been working closely with City of Steamboat Springs leadership as well as the Steamboat Springs Area Fire Protection District Board to ensure the department can grow to meet the increasing demands for service the community has experienced over the last decade.

The Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue Strategic Plan is available by request through NextRequest. Archived documents are provided for download in PDF format, which may not be compatible with assistive technology. Individuals requiring an alternate format to access our digital services can complete the Request for Assistance Form.
