Board of Adjustment

BOA reviews requests for adjustments to development standards related to single‑family homes, duplexes, signage, and floodplains. The board ensures that variance requests are evaluated fairly and in accordance with city regulations.

The board is looking to fill an alternate seat with a term running through March 2028. Deadline to apply is by 5pm on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Historic Preservation Commission

HPC reviews design applications, evaluates nominations to the Steamboat Springs Register of Historic Places, provides recommendations to City Council, endorses National Register submissions, and reviews qualified restoration projects for state tax credits. 

The commission is looking to fill an alternate seat with a term running through March 2029. Deadline to apply is by 5pm on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Planning Commission

Planning Commission advises on long-range planning, land use regulations, and community development matters that help guide future growth and development.
