STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-April 26, 2023-The City of Steamboat Springs Utility Division is in the process of updating the Water & Wastewater Standard Specifications. As part of the process, the city is hosting an open house tomorrow, Thursday, April 27, at 1:30 pm in Citizens Hall (124 10th Street).
The city’s consultant, Ulteig, will be presenting a brief summary of the updates to the Water & Wastewater Standard Specifications and take questions or comments. The open house is available either in-person or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
Copies of the draft updated water & wastewater standard specifications will be available at the open house and through a link to an electronic version of the draft document via email or on the city’s website. If unable to attend the open house, the presentation will be recorded, and a link will be provided on the city’s utilities webpage or upon request.
After the open house, the city will accept comments and suggestions on the draft document through the end of the day on Friday, May 12, 2023, after which the document will be finalized. Comments and suggestions can be sent by email.
The updated document will go into effect as of June 1, 2023. Any formal approvals granted by the utility division before June 1, 2023, will not be subject to the updated document.
