STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-May 26, 2023-Haymaker Golf Course hosts a special week, June 1-7, dedicated to locals which features specials and deals that run the gamut and are far better than par for the course.
“Our local players are the backbone of the course,” said Haymaker Head Golf Professional Cody Hasten. “This week focuses specifically on them and shows how much they mean to us and the impact they have on the course. It’s also a great time for anyone interested in golf to find out more and score some fantastic deals.”

The Haymaker pros get into the action on Friday, June 2, with three key programs to improve your game on a number of levels. Golfers can try to beat the pro on a designated hole and earn a free round of golf with proceeds from the competition benefiting the Haymaker Junior Golf Fund. Take advantage of a FREE ten-minute video swing analysis on the Range from 1-2pm. Junior golfers will benefit from FREE tips from Instruction Pro Jimmy Rockelman on the Range from 4 to 5pm that day. Rockelman has nearly three decades as a PGA teaching professional and a passion to help all types of players improve their game.
The deals are not limited strictly to the course either and also land perfectly at the 19th hole, The Patio Grill. Enjoy 20% off burgers, $4 retro beers on the cart and happy hour from 2:30 to 5:30pm. Did we mention the Patio Grill has one of the best outdoor decks to savor the incredible Yampa Valley sunsets.
Proudly owned by the City of Steamboat Springs, the 233-acre championship golf course features at least four sets of tees per hole, playing from 5,059 to 7,308 yards. Heralded as a ‘core layout’ using large greens and gentle undulations, Haymaker blend seamlessly with the topography of the region. The course, which enjoys uninterrupted vistas of the Yampa Valley on every hole, lends itself to golfers of all abilities from the novice to the professional.
