Bear River Park Master Plan
The 2016 Bear River Park Master Plan is a representation of the high community value for recreation and the natural environment that exists within the City of Steamboat Springs. This property is a unique opportunity for the City to transform a parcel formerly devoted to infrastructure into an amenity for the broader community as well as for visitors for years to come. While this is not the first public planning process focused on the future of this park, this plan update realizes a more complete vision for visitor experience, relaxation and recreation.
